About GMIT

G Madegowda Institute of Technology (GMIT) was established in the year 2011 by Bharathi Education Trust (BET) to fulfil the growing needs of the industry and aspirations of young students of Mandya District and other parts of the country, to cater this it requires outstanding professionals who can be an asset to any organization. The campus spreads over an area of 27 acres and located amidst lush greenery and a serene ambience in Bharathinagara. Institute has experienced and dedicated faculty, Good Infrastructure, Modern Equipment, state-of-the-art laboratories, Digital library, Playground, Swimming Pool, Transportation facilities provides the right place to the students for effective learning. GMIT is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. G Madegowda Institute of Technology (GMIT) one of the premier institution started in the year 2011 with CSE, EEE, ECE, Civil and Mechanical branches by Bharathi Education Trust (BET), Bharathinagar. Since then, it has grown with time. At present, the institution runs 6 UG courses in Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) 2 PG courses in Master of Technology ( M.Tech.) with an annual intake of about 378 students. The institution began with the mission of preparing the young generation for “Integration & Prosperity”. Today more than thousand students are studying in this institute & they are guided by more than 60 well qualified & experienced faculty members who work to integrate the mission of the college by their teaching training and research methods.
