About Electronics and Communication Department
Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) is an established Department at G Madegowda Institute of Technology (GMIT), with a reputation of more than 10 years. The department also boasts itself with many of the alumni's have built bright careers and successfully emerged as captains in their respective fields. Our course provides equal importance to theory and hands-on sessions. The classes are handled by highly hailed academicians. During the laboratory sessions, the students are aided with skilled technicians. Specialized subjects include but not limited to Power System Analysis, Power Electronics, Electrical Machines and Drives, Analog and Digital Electronics, High Voltage Engineering, etc. While the focus is on the hardware design, the students will also learn the foundations of programming and complete the set of technical skills required in today’s industrial standard. Electrical & Electronics Engineering Graduates can excel as power engineers to design systems and minimize power losses during generation, transmission and distribution. They can work as Data analyst/Diagnostic Engineer, Maintenance Manager in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. They design, develop, test Electrical devices and equipment which includes electrical generators & motors, navigation systems, electrical Vehicles, and electrical systems for automobiles and aircrafts etc.
